About Us
The Flying F Ranch was established in 2000 when we moved to Ridgefield Washington. At that time Ridgefield was a sleepy little town with no more than 3,000 people. What a beautiful little welcoming town then and continues to be today.
Our property was previously 160 acre property that was divided into 40 acre parcels. The property began farming and running a dairy farm from roughly 1918 through 1976. Between 1976 through 2000, the property continued to be divided and sold until we ultimately created the Flying F Ranch in 2000.
A little story .....
I moved to Ridgefield to allow my family to experience life in the country. I have a daughter, son, son-in-law and a grandson. I've been blessed in many many ways. The Flying F Ranch was a dream of mine back in Wisconsin where I grew up. As a child I dreamt of someday having a horse and living in an old farm house.. But my journey didn't start on the farm. I spent 25 years working for Marriott hotels, traveling and living in many different US cities from Osage Beach, MO to San Diego, CA. My career in the hospitality business allowed me to learn what it takes to make a memorable stay for a guest. My hope is you find a memorable stay here at the Flying F Ranch.

The Bunkhouse was work of many friends and family. It was designed to allow you to relax in a gorgeous country setting. Here you can watch what it takes to run a small ranch with cattle, horses, and other animals. I love the lifestyle on the ranch and all that comes with it. There is much to do and much to cherish. I hope you fall in love with this place too.
